Located inside the Heritage Hotel, Haroma is owned by the Relais & Chateaux Group and calls itself as an “urban bistro”. Created by two-Michelin-starred executive chef Mario Sandoval, its culinary concept focuses on fusion dishes with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. Featuring dishes such as salmorejo, grilled octopus, hake kokotxas (hake cheeks) and beef cheek, the menu takes you on a journey through the different flavours of the peninsula.
One of its highlights is its brunch, served at the table on weekends from 1 pm to 4 pm and fully compatible with a halal diet. Guests can enjoy marinated salmon on toast with avocado, your choice of eggs and a main dish to choose from: steak or tuna tartare or the house hamburger, with certified meat.
Its “tea experiences” astound even the most discerning palettes, who can choose from an assortment of teas from selected harvests, artisan cakes and pastries, traditional British tea-time scones and finger sandwiches, and even Victorian tableware.
There is a tasting menu available for €75 which can be adapted for halal diners.
